  • With the JASO (Japanese Automobile Standards Organization) M345, JASO has developed its own standard for 2-stroke motorcycle engine oils, which classify the different qualities with grades FB, FC and FD - with the aim of improving the performance of 2-stroke engine oils. The JASO M345 assesses the quality of the engine oil according to the following four criteria: lubricity, low-smoke combustion, engine cleanliness, clogging of the exhaust system. MOTUL 2-stroke engine oils comply with the latest JASO FD and FC specifications. One exception is the 800 2T FL racing oils, which exceed existing standards. JASO M345 FD represents the highest requirements for a 2-stroke engine oil within the JASO.
